    Highly recommended movie

Although it's very long, being you have to flip the DVD over to watch Part 2. It goes through a lot of critics before telling you to flip the DVD over is why I don't give it a 5 star rating. (Just 'skip' the critics when Part 1 ends, and it'll say to flip the DVD over). However, it's a very good movie, with a lot of powerful battlefield scenes, as well as one on one battles. I was hoping to see a one on one battle between Spartacus and the Roman Army General, Carassis; like in the movie 'Gladiator', where Russell Crowe and the Roman Emperor fight at the very end. There are scenes throughout Spartacus where he has visions fighting Carassis, but it never happens. This really is a good movie, but it took me 3 days to watch it in its entirity because it is so long.
