My husband and i had a great opportunity to see this film in Asheville. We found that at our age it was a new concept when it comes to the dating experience but we enjoyed it. We would certainly see it again!

It was a very good dating movie and I recommend it highly to others. It added a lighter view to the dating and relationship world and I enjoyed it.

SPEED DATING reviewed by Kate Aucella Finally, a much-needed cinematic break from vampires, war, and over-the-top special effects; Irish filmmaker Tony Herbert's above-average rom-com, "Speed Dating," is a perfect embodiment of today's contemporary dating scene and the tipsy, text-happy 20 and 30-somethings that roam within it. The story centers around likable everyman James Van Der Bexton, (Hugh O'Connor) an endearing blend of American Pie's Jason Biggs and The Office's B.J. Novak. In the two years that he's spent nursing a broken heart (and countless lagers), he's become a serial speed dater whose repetitive, rapid-fire quest for love leaves him feeling more alone than ever. After a disastrous attempt to track down a captivating co-ed results in a case of not only amnesia, but a potential murder (with a dumbfounded, hospital-bound James as the prime suspect), the fun really begins, as he is forced to re-evaluate his life, chock full of colorful characters and laughable lessons that make it worth living. Although love certainly has its place in the film, it's the edgy humor, authentic characters and original approach to a genre that often feels saturated that sets this movie apart from the herd. It's easy to watch and even easier to relate to - guys, girls, and speed-daters alike will all surely raise a glass to it.

Speed Dating is a fun time. A quirky Irish romantic comedy with hilarious characters and fast paced action. Tony Herbert (director, writer & actor) does a great job of entertaining and delivering a thought provoking piece of work.

Speed Dating started off with the situations that everyone goes through in the wonderful world of dating. Also shows that love can be found in unexpected places. I found the film very funny and I was able to relate to a lot of the characters. This is a great film.

I was in the mood for a funny and romantic movie and heard good things about this movie. I just watched it and it was all I had hoped for and more! Thoroughly entertaining, funny, sweet, and witty. I could relate to so many of the characters- which is something I look for in a good movie. I highly recommend this.
