Spider-Man fans will want to take this 79-minute collection for a spin, although newcomers may find themselves initially at a loss. Picking up where The Ultimate Villain Showdown left off, this disc contains four episodes from the ambitious 1995 animated series; Chapters 12-14 of the Sins of the Father story arc; and Chapter 1 of Partners in Danger, which launched the series' fourth season. An embittered doctor becomes embroiled in the Kingpin's plans to use the doc's portable inter-dimensional technology for his own nefarious ends in "The Spot." In "Goblin Wars," "Turning Point," and "Guilty," the technology falls into the hands of Norman Osborn, a.k.a. the Green Goblin, the villain popularized in the blockbuster live-action film (available on VHS and DVD). If Spider-Man's professional life is action packed, so is Peter Parker's personal life, as the lovelorn Parker is torn between Mary-Jane and Felicia, both of whom are forced to take a backseat to his secret life as a crime fighter. The animation is strictly after school, but the villains are comic-book favorites and the writing is clever, as when a clueless Mary Jane can't understand all the perils she finds herself in. "This is New York," Parker explains. This disc gets a nostalgic boost from two episodes from the original 1967 animated series, complete with the classic theme song.

I watched this video of Spider-Man and could not stop as each episode flowed right into the next. I do want so badly to see the continuation of this series if it is available.
