    more from this reviewer

If you're capable of laughter, you'll love it.

A hilarious up-to-date remake of the 1954 movie 'The Belles of St. Trinian's!' With it's witty, slap-you-in-the-face comedy and Rupert Everett's dazzling performances as both the shcool's batty headmistress as well as her money-grubbing brother, this movie will have you literally laughing out loud!

Did I not mention the girls? Crazy, wild, un-tamable, and all-around bad girls have to try to use their ingenuity to save the school from bankruptcy once it becomes clear they may have to leave their anarchic playground!

    Love this film!

The humour is very British, so it may be a bit difficult for some to understand, but this film is hilarious and a fun watch.

    I Also Recommend:

    A bit flat

This is an over the top and distrubing all-girl teenie-bopper flick. You'll find charicatures instead of characters in a plot about an all girls school, which is closing due to financial difficulty. The school is basic anarchy, run by unruly girls, who decide to steal a piece of art to keep the school open. The film tries too hard to be a dark comedy and doesn't work well. It is a gross-out gothy comedy that falls flat with no one to root for.
