The disc's sharp, letterboxed image (1.85:1) only heightens the cheap look of the movie, which has the feel of an extended (make that much too extended) sketch from Love American Style, right down to its scoring by Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox. The photography by Sam Leavitt isn't terribly special, in that typically over-lit television style, but it does look decent here, ...

The photography by Sam Leavitt isn't terribly special, in that typically over-lit television style, but it does look decent here, and the 93-minute movie has been given 12 chapters, accessible through a simple menu that opens automatically on start-up. There are no extras or bonus materials. The soundtrack is in mono, despite the fact that the main title song, "Girl" (sung by Davy Jones), was done in stereo at the time.

    Rocks

I did a monologue on The Star Spangled Girl in my Theatre Arts class. It was so cool. My part is where she's telling Cornell why he should stop doing what he's doing to her. It was big and triumphant. lovely I presume and I love this book. Thrilling and keeps you asking. I love it- Kayla
