I never thought I liked Star Trek...my husband convinced me to finally watch the new Star Trek....loved it! So then, I wanted to see more. Bought this as my first collection and watched them all. Excellent series with extremely well developed characters that make it very entertaining. I'm still not a huge "sci-fi" person, but I love Star Trek! I now own all the motion pictures (TOS and Next Gen) and the first two seasons of TOS...gonna get 'em all!

The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise D warp speed from the small screen to the big screen. Here is my take. Star Trek Generation was the first film for the crew of the Enterprise D. It was supposed to have the original crew appearing with the Next Generation crew, but instead it included Kirk, Scotty and Chekov. It was a good movie, but I was disappointed to see Kirk died in the end. Star Trek: First Contact was my second favorite Star Trek film thanks to the Borg. It continues where the episode Best of Both World left off. Lots of action and humor. Star Trek: Insurrection was an okay movie. Star Trek: Nemesis was the last movie for the crew of the Enterprise D. I was sad to see Data died in the end after he sacrifice himself to save the crew of the Enterprise D. I don't understand why the movie was a failure even though a good movie. Probably, this movie was the swan song of the Enterprise D.
