    Great entertainment!

Two great shows but the 1985 concert stands out as one of the best. I can never hear Stevie Ray play Mary Had a Little Lamb to many times because he plays it different every time. What a master of the guitar.

    SRV Immortalized

Stevie made love to his guitar. His passion is expressed so magnificently on these DVD recordings of Montreaux 1982 and 1985. From his sweat soaked body to the bulging veins in his hands, the passion is palpable. Pity the ignorant heathens who booed him in '82 on Disc 1. The performance was brilliant and courageous. But Disc 2 brought Stevie back to me from the grave- an impossible dream since his tragic death. To be able to see his passion, his artistry, his musical athleticism, his utter genius, so up-close-and-personal is truly a magnificent gift. No other CD or DVD of SRV compares. This is the best Christmas present ever.

    Play For The Stars Stevie

Anyone that is a fan of the blues & the guitar has got to watch this DVD. Stevie plays the guitar like no one I have ever seen, and there are alot of wonderful guitar players out there in their own right. However he is exceptional , top of the line, he plays with heart , body & soul & you will know it when you watch him. The fans want Stevie.................

The best gig ever !! of Stevie Ray Vaughan. A classic!

I,m enjoying the 82 montreux jazz festival gig for years and years now. On video ofcourse! Now in 2004.... finally there is the official release. Twenty years too late!? But for the fans/guitarplayers who have not see it yet, it will be a thrill! Don,t miss it! Its a classic document of authentic electric bluesguitar. And this document will stay in the highest regions for years and years and years........
