Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Christina Urban
Former teen dropout and drug addict Jerri Blank Amy Sedaris continues in her midlife quest for redemption by returning to high school in the third and final season of Comedy Central's Strangers with Candy. Jerri's revisiting of her high school days includes having a secret fling with the class hunk in "Invisible Love"; joining the track team in "Steroid Relay" despite the protests of her 47-year-old body; and penning Flatpoint High's advice column in "Ask Jerri." The final episode of the season, "The Last Temptation of Blank" guest-stars Winona Ryder as Fran, the most popular girl in school, who bets she can make Jerri so cool that even Brent Paul Rudd will ask her out. Janeane Garofalo also guests in the episode, as well as former Saturday Night Live star Cheri Oteri and Kids in the Hall alumnus Mark McKinney.
