Randall Kleiser's story about two young lovers who find a third friend while on a summer trip to Santorini is not original but rarely has it been told with such beautiful backgrounds and interesting characters. Valerie Quennessen's best performance and Daryl Hannah is great in an early role.

An interesting, light, innocent romp about an American college boy and girl who go to a Greek island for a summer vacation. He meets a French girl archeologist working there, and is attracted to her. His girl friend finds out and begins a slow process of accepting her competition, leading to the headline. The photography is excellent, making you want to buy a ticket to Greece. Fair amount of topless, but glimpses of Hannah's anatomy are titillating (pun intended) rather than explicit. For my taste, the French gal could plump out a little. Worth your time and money.

I have seen this movie several times. It is a lighthearted film about a college couple who come to the Greek Island of Santorini for fun and romance, skinny dipping, partying, etc. They discover Lena, a French archeologist, and form a threesome menage a trois, though the sex is kept in good taste for an R rating, but there is plenty of full nudity. Awesome scenery and soundtrack (Peter Cetera, etc.). A fun movie to own and watch every couple of years. This not an oscar contender by any means, but for those seeking a fun movie that is light, romantic, and exotic.

I watched this movie 50 times while pent up in a Coast Guard Station in the North Sea duing the winter time. People from all over the island would come over and watch the daily viewing, which actually became sum what of a ritual. A few years later I traveled to Greece to visit the different places I saw in the movie and remembered so fondly. I was not at all disapointed. Greece is a beautiful country full of pleasent people full of great ruins of past cultures. I thank the director of this movie for making such a well thought out love triad done in the upmost of plesentries. I highly recommend the movie, the country, and of couse the threesomes.
