    Just Good Fun

    All four films on two DVDs, it doesn't get much better! None of these films are absolutely outstanding, the plots are somewhat predictable, but for the great story of Superman, you don't get a better actor than Christopher Reeve. And for a villain, how much more fun can you get than Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor?

    You can't watch these too seriously, they don't stand up to that much scrutiny unless you apply a lot of "Comic Book Physics", but for a feel good set of plots, where you know there's a benevolent, powerful force watching over humankind, these four movies are good entertainment.

    Brings back memories!

    The Superman movies were such a hit when they were released, and we loved watching them then. Today, they are a real treat, watching a good, clean, "feel good" type movie.

    Don't Buy

    Barnes and Noble does not stand behind this product. Many of the manufacturer products were not created correctly and Barnes and Noble is sending out these ERROR COPIES. BUY with the knowledge that both disks in the packaging may not work and they WILL NOT take responsibility for good customer service and replace anything.
