This movie could be a huge piece of filth...surprisingly it isn't. The soundtrack is catchy and the acting isn't nearly as bad as it could be. The film doesn't take itself too seriously, and the director chooses some interesting locales to shoot in. Of course the surf gang war is pretty lame, but the character Mengele makes up for that in the long run. Trust me...give it a chance, fix yourself a nice cold beverage and enjoy it for what it is. NOTHING SERIOUS!!! Seriously though...the synthesizer soundtrack is very catchy.
