I've viewed it a few times within the past few months and it's really grown on me, which I think can happen for anybody if they let it. This is definitely a film for anybody who likes Vince Vaughn whose on his "A" game in this gem and introducing us to his ever-flowing dialogue style. Growing up, all I remember is that people would refer to this film as nothing but a bunch of wanna-be Rat Pack 20 year olds parading around town trying to get laid. And of course the first few times of watching this film got me to think the same thing, but now that I'm in my mid-20s, I see a major difference and a wide range of social commentary being portrayed. Number one being that this is about a group of guys which is nothing new, but these guys are arogant, NY/LA types, posing as if they're kings. You have two main characters (Vaughn, Favreau) whom are widely different within their personalities, but yet similar. Favreau (whom wrote the script as well) is still in the dumps after his girlfriend of 6yrs breaks it off with him, we catch up with him 6 months after and he's still heartbroken, especially since now his ex is dating somebody else. Vaughn plays one of his best friend's is a highly energetic and cocky guy with an ego the size of the moon and gets off on playing women. This film isn't just about these two characters, but the rest of the group as well and the way they talk, act, and cruise the city as if they own the place is nothing new to any guy since I think a lot of the times "We" act as if we are some kind of gift to the cities we live in. This is great film for getting inside the mind of the male psyche, tips on how we act when we get numbers from women and how long we wait to call and why we wait to not seem desparate to even getting a woman's number only to never even call cause you don't have any interest in them after talking with them...hey women do the same thing, so there shouldn't be any sexist remarks being made. The way the friends interact and play around is definitely true to life. People might find this film boring or not entertaining, but I beg to differ, cause there's a lot more to this film that meets the eye. I'm glad that there is a film like this that portrays male friends and individuals in this matter and show realistically how we act. People have commented on how the way they talk to eachother is using terms like "Baby" and "Money," but how is that any different than terms like "Gnarly" or using "Bad" as a good term. Besides with these characters it shouldn't be suprising they'd talk like this, but I find it amusing and fits their personalities perfectly. So if you're a guy and especially in your mid-20s, then watch this film, don't expect a huge plot, but just a fun adaption of ordinary life between friends.

This movie is awesome for those of you that can enjoy a mostly situational dialogue movie. Some people like their comedy to be given to them like you would see in a Jim Carrey movie. This movie is hillarious! Vince Vaughn's timing and lines are awesome and Jon Favreau's message scene is just painful to watch. Hopefully this helps and to clairify I don't think its bad if you some of you don't enjoy this type of comedy, but I do highly suggested for those who do.

I couldn't finish watching this movie and turned it off halfway thru. Who talks like that? Women are 'beautiful babies' and good things are 'money'? These guys were annoying losers. What's the fascination? Must be a guy thing, because anyone with a brain would find this movie boring and wouldn't waste their time watching it.

This is one of those movies that EVERYONE should see! In fact, I have lent my copy out to everyone I know. Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughan are perfectly fantastic----they are one of the great comedic pairs of today. This movie is full of great dialogue that you will find yourself quoting....you won't be able to help yourself. This movie is 'so money, baby'.

So rarely do you see a smart comedy with a serious, relevant theme. Swingers is one of those movies -- Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn are a great pair and if you are a guy, you have got to see Swingers.

This movie is one of the best guy movies you will see, outside of ''Diner''. It is about guys that moved from New York to Hollywood and are trying to make it as actors. It portrays their struggles, and how they handle the un-written golden rule when you get a girls phone number at a club/bar and your friends tell you: ''No, you must wait 3 days before you call her''.... It is one of those movies that you can watch over and over even if you've seen it on cable like 30 times or so, it just gets better. The soundtrack is also good and makes you remember scenes from the movie. This movie is ''money''... Chad Castorina
