I watched this movie on demand and it was a Sad twisted love story and for a trouble young man who all ways in the world of darkens, and comes from a broken home and for a cheerlader who has to have a with a fake smile and fake front to friends and for a family who isn't there for when she needs them The Actor Scott M. Foster Did a great job in it and So did Noa Hegesh. I recommend this movie to everyone if you like the sad and twisted love talls

I watched this movie by total accident, having nothing better to do. The first twenty minutes or so are kind of slow, and for our blockbuster-accustomed eye, very low cost, but you have to get past that and just immerse yourself in the story. It is about a cheerleader girl with less than perfect life, and a freaky kid, who torments her just because...They start developing an unexpected connection through a notebook in study hall, and thye become friends, and grow a love for each other. Partly because of the difference of their high school social status, and partly because she is scared to death of accepting the fact that life is anything less than perfect, and has a dark, menacing side too, their love story could never end well. This movie really brought back the high school years for me, and besides the good acting (watch out for the actor who plays the freaky kid, he is amazing), and the great soundtrack, it is the tiny details that give depth to the film - I have watched it twice so far, and will watch it again and again. It crawls under your skin, and becomes personal, you can really associate with what`s going on because at some point in our vulnerable, yet enthrilling high school years, we have all been there. I am sorry that this film is so underappreciated. I recommend it highly.
