Overview

A loose adaptation of Wells' The Island of Doctor Moreau, this lurid horror outing centers on the evil machinations of a crazed scientist who lives on lonely Blood Island and struggles to turn a panther into a human. By the time a sailor is shipwrecked upon the beach, the doctor has partially succeeded. Trouble brews when the psycho physician's wife falls in love with the sailor.
