Very Important Information and Thought Provoking

I would recommend this to everyone, as this is extremely important to our survival. This DVD gives hope and many suggestions how we as individuals can help.

    more from this reviewer

    I Also Recommend:

What is the value for the services provided by nature?

There was one key point that was illustrated in this movie that made the entire movie worth watching. They did a great job graphically showing the value of the services that nature provided to us for free. Of course being short sighted as we are, we destroy nature and later try to scramble and create an artifical inferior alternative...

    Excellent!!

This is one of the best documentaries I have seen on the climate crisis and I own several of them. Both information and science are presented in such a way that even one who knows very little about global warming can easily understand and learn. I must have given away over 75 copies to friends and family and all have expressed nothing but praise for this film. It is one of the best educational tools I have found. Many thanks should go to DiCaprio for his generosity and commitment to these issues.

You'll want to show this to everyone

This film is packed with information, but never comes off as too overwhelming or slow paced. Interviews with experts in all realms of environmentalism are paired with images and video footage of real events that illustrate the point. Perhaps the best thing about the 11th hour is that while the first 60 minutes explain how the environment has been/is being damaged, the last 30 minutes focus on ways people are helping it, ending on a hopeful and positive note, inspiring the viewer to take any action they can. For around 5 dollars, this is one you'll want to own and share with everyone curious to know what all the fuss is about.
