Overview

Milo is a kitten, Otis is a dog. When Milo gets into a small box with the intention of taking a trip down a river, Otis follows. En route, the stars encounter bad weather, life-threatening situations, and even potential mates. Original made for Japanese TV under the title Koneko Monogatari, The Adventures of Milo and Otis contained some intense scenes that were edited out for Western audiences. For American consumption, the film was pared down to a G-rated 75 minutes, with a new comic narration added, written by Mark Saltzman and delivered by Dudley Moore.

My friends used to make fun of me in college when I said this was a great movie, but now that I am a mother, my children and I love to watch it all the time, for the cute animals and the funny narration.

Never mind all the animated stuff as good as it can be (like Finding Nemo)... This is a wonderfully charming little 'live action' movie with some beautifully photographed and framed scenes, and a cute story very nicely narrated.. Really quite remarkable considering it was done with all real live animals...

I used to watch this movie all the time growing up. This has to be one of my favorite movies.

This was my faviorite childhood movie. Infact, I used to watch it all the time, and once in a while, even though I am older, I will rent it and watch it over and over again, just like when I was a child.
