NOT IMPRESSED BECAUSE OF DELETED SCENES

I really liked this movie when it first aired on TV. However, I was very disappointed when I purchased this DVD and noticed how many scenes were deleted from the original airing. It really took a lot away from the flow of the movie.

it's a TV movie and it shows

there is nothing like a movie that is filmed in ten minute segments with each one not picking up from where the last one left off. it completely destroys the subject matter about which it was written. I suppose it is great if you have only a ten minute attention span and are sufficiently senile to have forgotten what took place only moments ago. Otherwise, the disconnect of each sequence wit e3h one that took place before it is entirely distracting.

    Great movie, but disappointing

This is what you would call the theatrical version. The Beast is really a 2-parter, close to 3 1/3 hours. This version is 1 hr 58 minutes. A lot of the scenes have been cut. So, if you saw the 2 parter, you'll be waiting for a scene to appear, which won't. Otherwise, the movie is OK.
