great! about time it was finally made available

I've been waiting for this movie to become available for quite some time. Its really good. If you like dark, action futuristic movies like, what Rollerball tried to be, then buy this! P.S. Now if only someone would make John LeCarre's two BBC master espionage movies Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Smiley's People available in NTSC format, then I would truly be in Nirvana. Cheers.

    A must see for everyone

A story of honor, intrigue, and defeating all odds, this movie must be seen! Remeniscent of Mad Max and Rollerball, it mixes football and mideival sports in a post-apocalyptic age! One of my favorite actors (Hauer) and one of my favorite movies!

    Post-Apocalyptic Goodness!

If you like ''Mad Max'' type movies, this is a little gem not many have discovered. It is raw, muddy, violent and sexy without the trappings of special effects to detract from the ''earthyness'' that is the world in the future. It ain't pretty, but it is gritty. It's tough and interesting. The characters are compelling and the game is brutal and beautiful. A fun ride.
