For a reproduction, the quality is actually very good. The sound and picture quality are fine. This wasn't the BBC concert I thought that it was... the confusion was my fault... these are music videos, but really great to watch!

I bought "Live In London" with great anticipation only to be greatly disappointed. The video quality is terrible and there are Japanese and English subtitles throughout that cannot be removed during playback. The video is a 1971 BBC television Carpenters TV special featuring ten live and lip-synched performances from Karen and Richard, including "And When He Smiles." Of course, it's always great to see something new on The Carpenters so for that reason alone the DVD is worth getting. But if you're particular about video quality this will no doubt disappoint you.
