    Breathtaking. Eye Opening.

    David Simon's book, The Corner, has masterly been transformed onto screen by emmy winning best director Charles S Dutton. All I can say is that he and the show deserved every award it was nominated and won for. The corner follows the lives of three members of the Mcullugh family living in the projects of Baltimore, home to such shows as Simon's own The Wire and Homicide. Gary, the once well off father who succumbed to the power of the corner His ex wife, Fran, who too is addicted to the taste of the corner and their son, 15 year old DeAndre whos a rising star in the local drug trade. The Corner is moving, powerful, thought provoking entertainment. Definately one of the greatest things I've ever had the priveledge to watch, read, or hear.

    TRUE LIFE

    Well, i know real life people actualy doing what these actors are doing. I've documented true raw hardcore drug user's for examination on human behavior under the influance of drugs. The corner is as true as real life...

    Charles Dutton need to be Director of the Year

    You have never seen a series like this one! All Star Cast and Performances all around. Khandi Alexander puts on the performance of her life!

    EYE-OPENING!!

    THIS IS A VERY REAL-LIFE MINI-SERIS THAT HAS OPENED MY EYES ON A SITUATION YOU NORMALLY ONLY SEE ON A QUICK PASS THROUGH THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN, YOU NEVER KNOW THE THE DETAILS OF HOW AND WHY THAT PERSON CAME ABOUT BEING ON THE CORNER, AND HOW IT EFFECTS THE LIVES OF EVERYONE THAT PERSON KNOWS AND LOVES.

    addiction

    working in the field of substance abuse this film helps me to understand their behavior as a illicit drug user. This film shows the different phases of addiciton that a person came experince.I truely will use this to film for training new counselors and staff members.

    What a Great Movie

    I have watched all episodes over and over again, when it was orignally aired on HBO. It's captivating,dramatic, and very intense. I found myself in tears at the end of the 6 episode.
