This is the best music DVD made.

I am an audiophile. I love DVD music. Even without DVDAudio, this DVD blows everything else away. The quality of the instrumentals, the technical measures, the audio reproduction are without compare. I run this through McIntosh equipment. However, even lesser equipment will do this wonderful DVD justice. DTS is the way to go here as it really brings home the fidelity. Its like you are there. Close your eyes, turn up the volume and enjoy. Worth 100 times the price.

    Eagles still rock

The sound quality is excellent. The boys perform as if it were yesterday. Their singing, harmony, acoustics...all seem to have only gotten the finest of tuning. That ''14 year vacation'' was what was needed for each of them. Now, more mature and on an even keel; they show you how great rock never dies...it only gets better!!!

    Quality Time with The Eagles!

Excellent acoustic experience (both in DTS and PCM stereo) - this DVD probably accounts for the best online spent money I can recall. Of course you have to like the Eagles but then that's not that difficult to do, is it? Classics like ''Tequila Sunrise'', ''Desperado'' and ''Hotel California'' are accompanied by some new material worth listening to (''The Girl from Yesterday'', ''Learn to be still'') that legitimates their getting back together after 14 years (quote: ''for the receord - we never broke up - we just took a 14 year vacation ... :) ... ). You can also find some Don Henley material (''New York minute'' and particularly ''Heart of the Matter'') in an original arrangement. You will never cease to be amazed by the lyrics that always bring back that particular state of mind called Southern California and the indisputable live performance skills displayed - the Eagles still kick. I guess that ''Get Over It'' and ''The Heart of the Matter'' tell the story of what it took to bring back together strong individuals like Henley, Frey, Walsh, Schmidt and Felder. You will probably want to purchase the DTS edition. ''Seven Bridges Road'' DTS audio-only track is provided as a bonus. You also get a quick glimpse backstage. Quality time that you will enjoy over and over again. A must have item.
