This is a great companion to the Elf on the Shelf book and Elf! My son, who was a bit on the fence with Santa this year is back to believing after watching this! It's a great story for kids as well as adults.

My kids thought this movie (if you can call it that... 23 minutes?) was great, but I thought the story line was truly lacking. The whole point of the Elf on the Shelf was not even addressed in the movie, which was very frustrating as a parent. I understand that the overall theme of the movie was believing, but since many movies already touch upon that issue, I thought this one would be great in dealing with the naughty vs. nice aspect. This is the whole point of the Elf on the Shelf! I was really disappointed, and had to drive the point home after watching the movie with my 4 year old twins.... I wish they hadn't missed the mark. The book is better!

My hubby and I absolutely loved this movie when we first saw it last year. We recently purchased it to watch again and again.

It was a cute holiday special, but is only 30 or so minutes. lots of songs and fun. I think it was a made for tv sort of thing, but it still was very enjoyable. I recommend it for any age.

I think we have watched this 500 hundred times. My kids (3 and 5) love it. They are BIG believer's and are completely mesmerized by seeing the elf fly. It's nice to see a wholesome family special for a new generation. I just wish it was longer.
