Overview

When the wife of a high-ranking government official begins experiencing chilling visions that are somehow tied to a series of murders around Paris, her fate becomes intricately tied with that of the two police officers investigating the gruesome crimes in this horror-flavored thriller from the producer of The Professional and starring Jean Reno. Anna Heymes' Arly Jover memory is failing, and her dreams are plagued by unspeakable images of murder. Meanwhile, in the Turkish district of Paris, upstanding police officer Nerteaux Jocelyn Quivrin and his questionably motivated partner, Schiffer Reno, investigate the savage murder of three clandestine Turkish laborers. As the investigating officers uncover an important clue implicating the Turkish mafia in the crimes, Anna awakens to discover that her appearance has been drastically altered by a mysterious plastic surgeon. I just finished watching this movie & I couldn't get enough of it! The characters are facinating & the movie keeps you involved to the very end! I love movies with Jean Reno & this movie is one of his best films, IMHO! You don't want to miss watching THE EMPIRE OF WOLVES!

A Sinister Thrill ride through the dark-side of Humanity

Paris now and then, a time and place some know well, yet others have never seen. The director Chris Nahon and company have produced a visual tour-de-force of a political, human drama with a riveting, unrelenting mix of terror, science fact or science fiction? The terror is all to real in today's world of conflicting political views and shifting alliance's.
The acclaimed French film actor Jean Reno delivers one of his best performances as a former Parisian detective, with shades of Gothic horror reminiscent of an Edgar Allen Poe screenplay if he were alive today to write one! A chance to see Paris like no tour guide can deliver, the question is, are you ready for the ride? ready or not a sensational, action packed thrill ride awaits the viewer. The wife of a government official with a secret past!? how many news articles have touted that headline? Illegal immigrants, suicide bombers, murder and mayhem in places that are all too real. Each step along the way draws one deeper into a mystery of innocents, hideously mutilated and manipulated, by a right-wing political organization plotting to expand a corrupt Turkish criminal empire. Exotic, surreal locations and a film pace that leaves one feeling as though one has just been slipped a mickey, with no time to recover from a weekend binge the plot thickens leaving one to wonder what is true and what is just the screen writers imagination! pay your tab and take the ride, Paris will never be the Same City of Light, and you may find yourself looking deeper into every shadow down every Parisian street you may walk!
