Love this movie! Not one that gets enough recognition.

I use this film every year to show children the some origins of Halloween customs. The main theme of friendship and loyalty are delightful. It has enough spookiness to entice but not terrify the young ones. Ray Bradbury is one of my favorite authors.

I love this movie!Great for a stormy night and Halloween night!Since nobody told you what this film is about,I'll tell you! Sit on the edge of your seat and enjoy this classic adventure of four friends who try to save the spirit of their friend Pipkin from the ghosts of Halloween past. The 4 encounter a mysterious man,Moundshroud, who takes them on a magical journey that sweeps them back as far as 4,000 years and touches down in exotic places like Egypt,England,France, and Mexico.Along the way, they discover the magic and meaning of Halloween-and friendship. This enchanting tale features the voice talents of Leonard Nimoy as Moundshroud,Annie Baker,Edan Gross,Andrew Keegan,Alex Greenwald, and Kevin Taylor. And can't forget the great animation by Hanna-Barbera. Young kids will love it!Great for the whole family.
