The disc also includes the film's theatrical trailer, an audio commentary track from producer Michael Deeley and film historian Matthew Field, a scene deleted from the original-release version of the film, and three short documentaries on the production of The Italian Job. The 2003 remake is also presented in letterboxed form at 2.35:1, also enhanced for widescreen monitors, and has been fortified with a wealth of bonus material, including six deleted scenes, five short features on the making of the film, a collection of bloopers and outtakes, and the movie's theatrical trailer.

    Why a set?

    This 'set' consists of two DVD's that may be purchased separately for less (total). One expects that this sort of product would contain additional materials that warrant the increased price. Not so... The movies are excellent. The marketing is deceptive.
