I absolutely love this movie! I have watched this movie over 50 times and I even know all the words to the movie. It's definitely a movie you can watch over and over again and never get tired of it. I give it five stars for the actors, and the concept of the story.
Great movie for any and all Jackson fans, entertaining, inspirational, and loaded with great Jackson hits. I recommend this movie for anyone who wants to know how the Jackson's got their start to Mega-stardom. I enjoyed many hours of watching this movie as I viewed it 3 times when I received it.
Wonderful movie!!!!! i recommend this movie to everyone!!!
I am a middle school music teacher and use this in my 8th grade classes. My students love it and have grown to appreciate the musical impact that J5 had and still has today.
I really love this miniseries. After Michael died, VH1 and BET started playing it and that's how I first heard about it. I was so drawn to it and I decided now to buy it. Amazing miniseries!
THIS MOVIE IS GENIUS!!!
I discovered this movie when I was watching VH1 late last year and I fell in love with this movie! Now THIS is how a biopic is supposed to be like! Even though the movie shows only "The Early Success" and "The Success Years" of the Jacksons and Michael Jackson's phenomenal solo career, it's very informative and may also explain some of the family's often public troubles. Also, it may help people realize that show business isn't always as glamourous as some celebrities make it seem to be.
If You have never seen this movie then what are you waiting for? It should not be that hard to spot either on tv or right here at bn.com I really love this movie, I am eighteen years old and the very first time I saw this movie was in 97'and I seen it on tv many times after that especially around michael's birthday. This is a must see and although I don't have the dvd yet I plan to get it very very very soon! I am a huge Michael Jackson fan and I just found out that the guy who plays him in the movie died shortly after the movie came out I credit him and the other actors for such a remarkable performace in making me believe I was really watching the jackson 5. The actors even resembled the real life J5. If any film deserved an oscar for best film of a life stroy it would be this and then they would have to close the catogory. Long Live the Jacksons!!!!!!
This movie is the best miniseries that i have ever seen.the actors look just like the real jackson 5 especialy the second michael.this is a got to see!
I thought this movie was the best movie i've ever seen. I encourage everyone to watch it. I thought the person who plyed the part of Michael Jackson was perfect for that part because he looked a lot like him and he was a very good actor. I love this movie and I love Michael Jackson. I can't wait to buy this movie.
The Jacksons the movie is my favorite movie of all times because I am so in love with micheal jackson. My favorite part was when michael was on stage doing the moon walk. Michael Jackson is the king of pop and will always be. I just wish I could meet him iin peson and tell him how much I like him and the Jacksons movie
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MOVIE, CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
when i first saw this movie it was thanksgiving, dont get me wrong i always loved the jackson five i thought joe was kind of cool he was the best of the movie and angela basset i loved her keep up the good work!
The jackson 5: An american really touched me and i will never get tied of watching it. All the actors did a get job esecially Wylie who played older michael he did a wondorful job on the moonwalk. He died a year after they did the film. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He was so cute and loved him so muchxxxxxxxxxx
I LOVE THIS MOVIE I'VE BEEN WATCHING IT EVER SINCE IT CAME OUT IN '92. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE GUY THAT PLAYED THE OLDER MICHAEL DIED 2 YEARS AFTER THE MOVIE CAME OUT OF LUKEMIA. ITS REALLY SAD....I HAD A CRUSH ON HIM FOR A LONG TIME.
I liked this movie. Ive seen it three times . I like the part when michael does the moonwalk and when they sing The Love you save.
Although, I was not around when the real Jackson 5 group was out and performing, by watching this tape I feel like I was born back in the 70's jammin and enjoyin every part of the Jackson 5 legacy. I absolutely love this movie! Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs really brought out the anger of Joe Jackson. I still cry when I see him beat poor Marlon jackson for not learnin the correct dance moves. My favorite times of the movie is when the group was just starting out and when they became teens. I absolutely loved those years. The actors who played the jackson 5 were excellent! I don't know who can say that this is not the best black ''made for tv movie'' ever made. There are two many words that cannot be written here to express the way I feel about this movie. If you have never seen this movie then you must go out and see it. You will absolutely love it if you are a Jackson fan like I'am.
I enjoyed the dvd I am a huge documentary buff.
The first time I was introduced to this movie was when my dad brought it in from somebody for us as a family movie. The first time I saw it,I liked it.My sister and I couldn't stop watching, the movie we really enjoyed it.That's how I started to love the Jackson 5, from that one little tape.I just knew I had to get there music and I did. I was around 11, and 12 then, now I'm 16 and I still enjoin there music.I found that I just can't grow out of them! I LOVE YOU JACKSON5 FROM YOUR #1 FAN AISHA!
