Things are looking up for Detective Constable "Dangerous" Davies (Peter Davison). Sure, he still gets the least promising cases in the Willesden constabulary, and he still gets little more than mockery from his colleagues. But his wife Julie (Emma Amos) has taken him back -- even though she has to share a house with his quirky, freeloading chum, Mod (Sean Hughes). These five full-length mysteries feature first-rate guest stars, including Kenneth Graham, Roger Daltrey, and Leslie Phillips. Each episode rewards the viewer with the gentle humor and captivating intrigue that fans have come to expect from North London's most doggedly unglamorous detective. Episodes include: "Once Upon a Time on the Westway"; "Dangerous' Liaisons"; "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Willesden"; "The Man From Montevideo"; and "Dead Peasants' Society," all of which originally aired in the U. K. on ITV1 during the show's fourth season in 2007.
