Flynn Carson (Wyle) is on a mission to recover the historic Judas Chalice when French beauty Simone rescues him from certain death. Despite her radiant gorgeousness, however, Simone possesses a dark secret. That doesn't stop Flynn from falling madly in love with Simone, though when he's betrayed by a respected professor (Bruce Davidson) and attacked by a relentless street gang, her secret finally comes out. Realizing his true mission, Flynn ventures into a decrepit New Orleans crypt rumored to house the remains of none other than Prince Vlad Dracul, the 15th Century Romanian prince whose notorious cruelty still holds the power to frighten over 500 years after his demise in 1476.

    the great escape

Love this movie as well as the others in the trilogy. Hope they continue the series. Just good ole fashioned escapism.

    I Also Recommend:

    Great Fun

The first movie for "The Librarian" was fun to watch and so was the second one as well. This was billed as the final in the series but I hope that make more of these. They are akin to the Indiana Jones films but are sillier and fun to watch. I really enjoyed the series unfolded and hope that more are made.

    Librarian rules!

I loved this movie! It is kind of corny but in a cute, funny way. It is great to unwind with at the end of a long day. There are special effects, but they aren't unreal or ridiculous; the storyline is logically played out and the ending is bittersweet but appropriate.

    Lovers of Knowledge Unite

I truly love the librarian series. 'The Judas Chalice' is the third in the series. Noah Wyle is great! If you love history, knowledge and fun this is the series for you. Bob Newhart shines as the Scholar. Be sure to watch all three installments of the librarian.

Librarian The Curse of the Judas Chalice

Stana Katic is wonderful as a Vampire. Her humor is as great as it is on "Castle".

    good buy

For a cheap action flick, this has great moments of deep emotion and some great humor. A good buy. I watch it whenever I need a tragic romance fix.

    Great fun!

Love the character, love the series. Noah Wyle is just deliciously nerdy.
All of the Librarian movies are perfect for a winter afternoon of popcorn munching. Don't think too hard - just enjoy them.

    Move over, Indiana Jones

What a wonderful movie! If you like the Indiana Jones movies, I think you'll really like these. I bought all three and we - my 10 year old son and I - watched one every night until they were finished. They get better each time and we're hoping there are more to come. Noah Wylie is terrific as the perennial student turned reluctant hero and Bob Newhart is surprisingly good as his mentor. There's something for everyone here and the series is worth both your time and your money.
