I remember when it first came out for VHS when I was only 6 years old and is still my favorite Disney Movie of all time. The music is beautifully done and the characters are unforgettable. From Scar to Simba and many colorful characters brings out the best of Disney. The Lion King gives life lessons and amazing storyline. The story gives hope, regret, forgiveness and many lessons probably people today have lost or forgotten. I love the story and it is amazing even now. A must have in a DVD collection and having the digital copy to bring with you on your ipod, ipad, iphone, andriod, Zune etc. It's a great from 6 years old to adulthood for we are part of the Circle of Life.

I still remember going to see The Lion King when it first came out when I was five. I loved it so much and still do! I think it is one of the best films that Disney has made, that includes the live action ones too! I still have the VHS of The Lion King and still watch it (I also have the DVD) I highly recommend getting The Lion King if you haven't done so already! Hakuna Matata!

'The Lion King' is the greatest animated film of all time. This story is a complete masterpiece, its everything a film is suppose to be. Funny, vibrant, the songs are great and the characters are relateable. This is my favorite of all the Disney movies. After all this time this movie is getting the royal treatment it deserves. This is the pinnacle of animation films.

This is the one movie that I begged my daughter not to buy on DVD. I have had it on VHS since it's release, they love it, and since they don't have it at home it's our special ''grand-movie''. Will buy it on DVD and then they can watch on grampas big screen!! The best of the best......

The first time we bought the Lion King was on VHS when it first came out, back then it was the only movie I would watch. Even now I watch other movies, Though the Lion King remains at the very top of my list of movies to watch. When Disney re-released the Lion King onto DVD for the first time, I made sure to get my own copy of the Lion King on Disney DVD October 7, 2003, the very day that the Lion King was released for the first time on Disney DVD. and to this very day, from the very first time I watched the Lion King all those years ago. I still Love the Lion King. I also recommend those who buy a copy of the movie on DVD to try their luck at the Personality Profile Game, to see which Lion King Character you are most like. The first 5 time I tried it I was like Nala, the sixth time I was like Simba, then I tried it again a seventh time and I was like Nala Again. Weird maybe but totally enjoyable.

This is truly one of the greatest movies ever made. Great story, songs, voices and animation. This is what made Disney a mainstay in animation! Kudos to the entire crew, creative development team and ''actors.''

I was only 6 years old when my mom took me to the movies to see The Lion King. I loved it so much, I couldn't wait till it came out on VHS. But now, it is coming out to DVD. And I am very excited to get it, as I was excited to get it when I was 6. For the people who have not seen The Lion King, it is a must see movie.

I am a true Lion King fan. I have a 3'x2' cupboard full of Lion King Stuff. It is literally overflowing. When I was 3 my Mom got the Lion King for me. I wore it out!!!! You could not see any of the movie! My Dad had to buy me a new one. It is my favorite movie tied with Spirit Stallion of the Cimerron.

I think lion king is one of my favorite disney movies! it shows that you have to go back with what you left and change of what you have done. My favorite character i would have to say is Rafiki! hes a funny lil monkey! so i recommend anyone who likes disney to choose this one!

This is the third best movie that Disney has made. Ever. If you only have room for two Disney movies on your shelf, they should be Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. But if you have room for a third, this should be it.

Simply the best animated movie ever. Story is awsome, music is awsome, and the characters are fun and full of personality! Do any of you have the special edition VHS set? It's awsome to see they are bringing out a special DVD edition too! I just wonder if it's coming to Australia. :(
