The Original is by far the best - and I have the american accent.

For those of you looking for the orignial - do not be fooled by the animation picture - you need to request the one directed by Andrew Adamson in 1979. You can tell by the Picture if it is the right one. Good Luck.

    A masterpiece!

A superb allegory about how God would end misery and solve all our problems if He really wanted to!

American Dub is a Terrible Snub on this Wonderful Movie

I have to agree, this is a fantastic version of the Narnia story and very nostalgic for me, but it simply doesn't work without the original cast voices - the American dub is grating. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring out the beloved original on DVD.

    Actor blues

Why oh why did they have to ruin this great film by revoicing it with American accents. It was superb as it was with established actors such as Sheila Hancock, Leslie Philips,Arthur Lowe.Does anybody know if the original mix will be availble on DVD?

    Excellent Portrail

This movie is an excellent portrail of Christ Jesus as He willingly goes to His death to save us and victorously resurrects thus breaking Satans power. Outstanding!
