Editorial Reviews

New York Times - David Mermelstein
[The DVD] preserves the enchanting Houston staging in a manner that both children and adults should enjoy.... Though the score is neither innovative nor especially memorable, it is well made and attractive, with a wistful primary theme, often carried by a solo violin or flute, that could come straight from the movies. And this cinematic music suits Saint-Exupéry's story, at least when you watch the opera.
