The Matrix Revolutions comes to a thrilling end in the Matrix Trilogy. The action is non-stop and pulse racing. The movie still has that edge and hook that has made the first 2 so successful and important to today¿s pop-culture. It stimulates the mind which gives this movie a 5 star review. Its not something you sit down and just watch and expect to absorb and completely understand. You actually have to THINK about what is going on and have to try to make an attempt to tie in the 3 movies. That¿s a big reason for my liking of this movie. I want to have to think about what is going on, not just sit there and get it the first time over. The special effects were awe-inspiring and the story line was a bit confusing, but unless you have viewed the previous two installments then the movie will not make much sense to you, but as I have said earlier, unless you think about the movie you wont understand much of it. All the main characters return to rid the enslaved world of the machines. Neo ( Keanu Reeves ) returns as The One as well as Morpheus ( Laurence Fishburne ) and Trinity ( Carrie Ann Moss ) to help aid Neo in his battle against the machines. Fortunately, Agent Smith ( Hugo Weaving ) is back and ready to take down Neo. The character development was lacking, but if you paid attention then you can tell that the characters have changed and evolved into much more superior and vital characters in the trilogy. For instance Neo speaks as if he has been around for the length of the Matrix. As if he has been there from the very beginning. His rhetoric gives the impression that he knows what is going on at all times, and he sees the future in his dreams which push the climax of the movie further and further up to dizzying heights. Although the ending might seem unfulfilling to some viewers, it is best left as is. It allows the viewers to form their own opinions of what happens in the movie and I would not have it any other way.

I love this movie, and I know that some of you people will look at this like I'm crazy judging from the fact that it only has three stars. The fight for Zion was one of the best scenes I've ever seen in a movie, and the fight between Neo and Smith is simply amazing. The music in this movie is awesome and the special effects are better than the first and second combined. I know some people are dissappointed about the ending (I was too at first), but she says that they will see him again. I'm guessing that means that he will come back to free them... Still one of the best movies, and I can't wait for the online game to come out...

After finished watching The Matrix: Revolutions, there was a great deal of satisfaction. I don't mean the satisfaction streaming from the movie but rather the great satisfaction of getting over with the whole trilogy. Wow! I have no idea what was that all about nor do I care about wanting to get the gist of it. Once again, the special effects ruled the film. That is as far as I am going to praise, if anything. Why can't it be more simple like Star Wars? Perhaps The Godfather? I believe The Matrix Trilogy will serve a purpose for future trilogies and whatever-ologies, which is 'Don't complicate things. Keep it simple as possible.'. At one point in the film, there was a fight between Neo and Smith. That moment, I said to myself, 'Here we go, another tedious lengthy fight that will ultimately get nowhere.'. How many times have I seen it? How many times must they show it? Why can they do something new? The Matrix: Revolutions involved one heartfelt scene. Since emotions can't be felt in the film, I guess they broke the rules once again. After that, the trilogy became one huge joke. They set the rules, and they keep breaking the rules, throwing me off the course. In the end, I got insanely lost and bewildered. I hope it is all over. The whole time, there was a war going on. I was thinking to myself: What WAR?. Please, no more Matrix silliness. I beg you.

IT is obvious that most of the things you see in the Matrix trilogy has been taken or is related to the events in the bible. That is what makes the movies so interesting and so realistic. Not to mention the alikeness that Neo and jesus carry, their destiny and yes...even their sacfrifice for others. And the visual effects are pretty good. The results, this movie kicks @$$, no matter what the ending is. Not saying there is a bad ending, just, a reasonable one.

High expectations and my own idea of how the trilogy should end left me disapionted at the theater. But watching it again at home I realized that this is a great movie and a tremendous, engulfing thrill ride into fantasy. As far as trilogy's go, it is on par with Return of the King as the best final chapter ever.

i mean people say it was the worst movie ever, but it just leaves a lot to be imagined, which is either bad or good to people. but it is still way better then the horrible lord of the rings. im not a kid anymore! it is a good movie. nowhere near as good as the first one though. the second one is great too, if tou forget the hippie dance scene.

I hope this is the end of Matrix. I want to see Lawrence Fishburn back to work on the great drama performances he has done in the past.

I liked the first movie way better than 'Reloaded' and 'Revolutions'. The only reason I liked it was because of the fight scenes and because of Neo, other than that I didn't like the storyline.

Lots of shooting and special effects. Plot is not the best but it had to end this way. Still a way better triolgy than Episode 1 and 2 and soon to be 3.

this movie will go along with caddyshack 2, rocky 5 and we will all just pretend these didn't happen. this was the biggest piece of crap i have ever seen. this in no way compares to lord of the rings, lotr has a story that matrix lost after the 1st one. at least part 2 had alot of action. sadly, i wont get those 2 hours of my life back......

The Matrix trilogy is the best trilogy ever, as simple as that. Star Wars? Not a trilogy anymore. The Lord of the Rings? I hated that movie... if you liked, you'd better read the book, is a million times better.

A third straight supermovie from those masters of high-tech thrillers, the Wachowski brothers. Left me wondering what they could possibly do to top this--until I read the new tech thriller NANO by John Robert Marlow. On the back cover, Vernor Vinge (who invented the concept of cyberspace in his short story True Names) says: 'Could make a spectacular movie. Wachowski borthers, watch out!' Then someone told me the Wachowski brothers may do this as their next project. Can't wait!

all you people (and i know that theres plenty out there) who think LOTR was better than the matrix trilogy, think again! where DID you think the directors of that movie got all that stuff? hello? the matrix has been around longer, was made by better people (larry & andy wachowski), with better actors (DUH!), and more advanced special effects that the LOTR posse couldnt even conceive! now, let me ask you, which trilogy is better? clearly, the matrix!

You know that feeling you sometimes get as you move further and further away from some event? Well, in the case of 'Matrix Revolutions,' the movie continues to get worse and worse as more time passes since I saw it. In fact, a friend and I have a game where we pretend that the 2nd and 3rd movies never happened. The Wachowski Brothers made the original movie -- a truly unique and wonderful film -- and then went on to other projects. We do this because the other two movies -- especially this third one -- are so bad that they actually make the original one less great. 'Matrix Revolutions' in particular acts as a kind of black hole of goodness, making other movies around it less good. Truly a horrendously awful movie.

Easily the worst of the trilogy, Martix Revolutions was a mild romp through already seen scenery. Granted, the last stand at Zion proved fun to watch, but the vague and unfulfilling ending, combined with the fact every second-tier character (save Trinity) became little-more than brief window dressing drove me to walk out on what could have been an awe-inspiring conclusion to a multi-million dollar trilogy. If you want to watch a trilogy finale worth your money, but Return of the King.

If you like the matrix saga for its original storyline and action, than Revolutions was a perfect conclusion. Neo's conversation at Mobile Ave. and confrontations in the machine city were great to watch. The battles for Zion and Neo, at the club, were awsome (don't forget Bain). Problems I had were with some scenes of melodrama and cheesy scenes of dialogue that are below this Matrix movie. I belive that people were disappointed by the ending (although I give kudos to the bros. for not being predictable, but creative there) which also hurt people's opinions of it. The morals given by the movie are very insightful.

I completely understood the first Matrix and the second one left me in suspense even though the directors could have added more scenes to satisfy the thristy mind. What really kills me about Matrix revolution is that it left too many unanswer questions, and I believed that the original plot of the movie was lost in the transition of the making of the last two parts. The ending was really the most bizarre that I have ever seen. The first movie indicated that the machine could only survive by using humans as their power source, but that didn't make sense if the machine are to live peacefully with the people from Zion. Morphous main objective was to find the one so that he would end slavery for the human race, but Neo only delay the inevitable. The human race is still enslave and the peace between machine and man cannot last if Morphous wants all humans free from the machine captivity. How are humans and machine suppose to co-exisit, if humans are still being used as batteries? They totally forget that part of the plot in the third sequel.....
