    A must for Hardy fans

Very good adaptation from the book...After watching Ciaran Hinds in Jane Eyre, I felt certain that I could never see him as anyone other than Mr. Rochester. However, he is most certainly the Mayor of Casterbridge! Amazing actor! The movie is very true to the book, and you won't need a dictionary! Great movie!
