It is nice to be in the choir while it is being preached to in style. However, the material is not all that unique to Howard Zinn or unknown enough to be as interesting as it might have been. Have some of your liberal to left friends over, add some good wine, and enjoy it for what it is. Maybe after some time passes I will even watch it again.

Zinn's people's history, and the hidden voices of history brilliantly brought to life through their speeches, key literary passages and song. Can't think of a more inspiring travelogue through the struggles of ordinary and extraordinary Americans to "make just this land" through their sweat, lives, dreams. Too many highlights to list--the formal review or production description needs to be expanded to include the many, many contribors.
Brilliant
