    Excellent

I've watched the series on the History Channel and highly recommend this DVD set. Especially to middle and high school students. The series is very informative, interesting and, at times, entertaining.

    A necessary Part of history

This series boast a review of the Presidents leading up to Bush JR. The series is only 3 disc's long so it does not pack a tremendous amount of information onto each president.

But even so it is a great set to give an overview of the majority of famous presidents. Not bad as guide, but definitely not a resource.

    Worth purchasing on sale.

    History

Every American History class should be viewing this documentary. Great for ages 10-100. A reminder of American History and the greatness of our forefathers judgments on individual liberty as well as greatness of the office of the president. Reminder of the reason to make our votes count for the best candidate who exhibits the courage to lead our nation.

Good Review of the terms of each President.

This series did a good job covering the terms of office of each President. However, it touched very little on the early lives and backgrounds of each man. I would have like to have seen more of the history behind the man. I have seen other series that did that and it was very interesting to see how each one grew up.

Very good set to have in your DVD library

I really enjoyed The Presidents DVD set. I learned something new about every single president. I will watch these again and again. I especially liked hearing about the unique personalities of every president. I just hope they'll add new DVD's for each president going forward.

A nice overview of the 43 Presidents.

I saw this series on the History Channel and I just had to buy it when I saw it for $15! It is a very good overview of all the Presidents, but it is just that, an overview. The series goes into more depth with the major Presidents like Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, T.R., and F.D.R.; but only allots a few minutes for lesser known Presidents like Polk, Tyler, and Fillmore. All-in-all I learned something useful about all the Presidents and I loved the little information card they made for each one. I recommend this to all U.S. history buffs or anyone who wishes to learn about the men who have held the highest seat of power in the United States.
