Overview

Peter Hyams' murder mystery thriller The Presidio comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has also been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the theatrical trailer. This Paramount release does a commendable job of presenting the film, but that is pretty much all there is to the disc.

Classic Connery! Basically a run of the mill buddy film as far as the plot goes, but still above average for action including a great foot pursuit with Mark Harmon doing what Shatner in his TJ Hooker days called "Hood Diving". Great scene with Connery taking down the huge guy in the bar too.
