Centre members Sydney Patrick Bauchau, Miss Parker Andrea Parker, and computer nerd Broots Jon Gries, still seek to bring Jarod back to the Centre because of his abilities: He's a "Pretender" -- a genius with the ability to effortlessly insinuate himself into any walk of life. While on the run, Jarod uses newspaper clippings to find those he thinks he can help by using his extraordinary abilities: posing as a fashion photographer to rescue a model who's being stalked in "Exposed"; pretending to be a plastic surgeon to find out why a young patient isn't being cared for in "Nip and Tuck"; becoming a race car driver to investigate a suspicious car crash in "Indy Show"; and joining a SWAT team to find out who killed one of its members in "Bulletproof." And the show's "mythology" -- Jarod's search for the truth about his life and family -- continues with the addition of the mysterious Mr. Lyle James Denton of Desperate Housewives, who's determined to capture the escaped Pretender. Angelo Paul Dillon, the empath originally tasked with bringing Jarod in, is still secretly feeding him information about his past, and in the season finale, "Bloodlines," Jarod discovers a fertility clinic that seems eerily familiar.

    Watch the "Pretender"!

    Excellent DVD Entertainment!

    This was my favorite TV series, and I am thrilled to be able to own Season Two on DVD! It is exciting to follow the stories about Jarod and everyone from The Centre, and the behind-the-scenes extras on the DVDs are excellent.

    Fantastic!

    "The Pretender" is a fantastic series, and Season Two is an intense and exciting continuation of the journey started in Season One! The DVD set contains behind-the-scenes extras and special “Making Of” featurettes. I especially enjoy watching the episode commentaries from actors Michael T. Weiss, James Denton, and Andrea Parker, as well as the writers/creators. "The Pretender" is guaranteed entertainment satisfaction!
