Overview

The Prince and Me 2: The Royal Wedding continues the story of 2003's fantasy romance The Prince and Me. In the earlier film, Paige (Julia Stiles) - a midwestern college co-ed - falls in love with Edvard (Luke Mably), sans realizing that he is actually the Prince of Denmark. In this sequel, Paige (now played by neophyte Kam Heskin) and Eddie must confront a centuries-old Danish edict declaring that if a Danish prince marries a commoner, he must abdicate his throne. Clemency Burton-Hill and Maryam d'Abo co-star.

Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Donald Liebenson
The Prince & Me was a fairy-tale romance with the quintessential Hollywood happy ending, as Wisconsin girl Paige Morgan found true love with Edvard, the Prince of Denmark. Not so fast! A funny thing happens on the way to the royal wedding. The aspiring doctor and future queen is a commoner; Prince Albert, a feckless distant relative, schemes to exploit this fact and install his own daughter, Princess Kirsten, on the throne (ancient doctrine states that Edvard must marry a woman of noble birth, or abdicate). Kirsten is Edvard's lifelong friend, but she's really a mean girl out to sabotage Paige ("You're a little out of your league here," she sneers). This downsized direct-to-video sequel is not nearly the glittering prize that was the first film, but it should win the hearts of hopeless romantics. Reprising his role as Edvard, Luke Mably is the sole returning cast member, with Kam Heskin stepping into the Cinderella shoes previously worn by Julia Stiles. As Kirsten, Clemency Burton-Hill makes a suitable girl-you-love-to-hate, making her predictable filth-splattered comeuppance a pleasure to behold.

first Paige played by Kam, she was ok in acting on this part. The love/romance just seemded as an act. it looked fake. no realism at all. Yhe plot looked like that movie "not another teen movie". None of the actors or actresses that was in the first one, was in this one. Not even Prince Edvards' sister. JULIA STILES WOULD'VE ROCKED THIS MOVIED A WHOLE LOT BETTER

I hated this sequel, I couldn't envision Paige in the 1st movie, acting the way Paige in the 2nd movie did. I think sequel was a disappointment.

They did a great job on the movie. Luke Mably is a fine actor hope to see him in more movies.

The Prince and Me 2:The Royal Wedding is as interesting and exciting as the first,is still comical but i didn't really like the fact that they changed the cast from the first show, Overall totally romantic and fun!

I think that Luke Mably and Julia Stiles had more chemistry than Kam Heskin and Luke Mably did in this film. I wish that Julia was in it instead of Kam...it would've been much more romantic! Like, in this movie, Paige and Edvard hardly EVER kiss! Bummer.
