Don't Bother... this one goes to 0.11

Eck, don't even bother. I own both Spinal Tap CDs plus ''This Is Spinal Tap'' on DVD, (as well as the other so-called mockumentaries) and let me tell you honestly that this is not worth it. Trust me, I picked it up here in the states after it came out a couple weeks ago and it is pathetic. Everything about it is reminicent of cheap $2 Beijing bootleg. It's put out by some cheap company I've never heard of, and the insert is full of grammar/spelling errors that anyone with any familiarity with Spinal Tap could locate. (ie The Folkman/The Folksmen, ''Sex Bomb Woman''/''Sex Farm'', ''Rock you to the Night''/''Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight'', etc) It's pathetic. I've made better looking DVD's on my computer of home movies. The presentation itself looks like European public access, and Michael McKean's voice is really bad in this particular concert, uncharacteristic for him I should add. Also, I have a bone to pick with the company repackaging it as ''Return of Spinal Tap''. This program was a television special of Spinal Tap concert mixed with small interview segments called ''A Spinal Tap Reunion: The 25th Anniversary London Sell-Out'', but the new title seems to try to decieve the purchaser into thinking that this is a sequel of some sorts. Granted, I knew all this prior to purchasing it, but being a die-hard fan, I figured ''why not''. Also, the price I got it is considerably more than most DVD's, which didn't help soothe any buyer's remorse here. For less money, I would recommend ''This Is Spinal Tap'', ''Waiting For Guffman'', ''Best In Show'', or the soon to be released ''A Mighty Wind''. If you already have those, then get the Spinal Tap soundtrack, ''Break Like The Wind'', or the (highly recommended) ''A Mighty Wind'' soundtrack. If you already have those, then I'd recommend buying spares of those ahead of buying this coaster.
