The Secret (Extended Edition)

"The Secret" is amazing and has truly helped transform my life for the better!

"The Secret" was shared with me by my mother, who had discovered it only a few weeks prior, when I was approximately 10 days into sobriety from a Meth addiction. It helped me to stay focused on the success of my recovery and to this day continues to enrich my life. In the past 2+ years that I've been drug-free, I can't begin to count how many times I have watched this. I have shared it with friends and loved ones as well. And when I seem to "loose my focus", I just pop it into my dvd player and press play to become rejuvenated once again! Thank you to everyone who assisted with The Secret ... I have my life back because of you!

This is what started it all for me!

When I found this I finally started my journey to a happier me. I was lost before in the routine of my terribly boring everyday life. All I wanted to do was sleep, to provide me with some sort of stimulation compared to the monotiny of the same ?!&% everyday! I was stuck in a big way and this is the door that I opened and stepped through and have not looked back. This is a wonderful starting point for those who are lost or stuck. I have a bunch of wonderful recommendations to watch and rad as well. Good Luck and God Bless!

Anything is Possible!

It never occurred to me til a friend introduced me to this movie, and book that people just do not realize what a vicious negative spiral they can get themselves into. Rhonda's inspirational reaction to her discovery of "The law of attraction" was to share it with the world! Luckily my mother was a collector of old books, so I had access to these books as a child.
I must admit though that it has been difficult at times for me to explain to others how I got "the part" or how "I won" that vacation, other than my retorting that "Anything is possible just believe!" Which means ENTERING contests instead of thinking "I'll never win" If you don't enter You will not! Rhonda has found a way of being politically correct by saying make your request to the universe, where I would say make your request to God, which as far as I'm concerned is one and the same. I am thrilled to finally have a tool to use to help people to open their eyes to certain facts, so I can continue to gently remind them we all need to reprogram ourselves from time to time if we find we are not happy. As the key is to "feel good," and if you hear your mind coming up with all the "Buts" those are the negatives that are holding you back! We are taught that things don't come easy. Why not? Again my motto! Anything is possible only believe! I have even given "The Secret" Calendars to people for Christmas. And I recommend seeing the movie on a regular basis, until your life becomes what you wish it, because I'm sure you'll get a new insight each time. And oh yes that means you CAN have a dream life so instead of flowing with the tides of life, sit and think of what that dream is. Dust those cobwebs out! Was there something you wanted to become when you were a child? Continued Education? Dream Job? Financial security?
Another book to read is "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale As he had to get a psychology degree to be "allowed" to write a book on positive thinking. So he also was inspired to share his discovered inspiration to the world. He was a pioneer writer, as today you don't need a psychology degree to write a book on positive thought!

It can change your life!

This is a good video to keep for those times when you feel down or depressed. Not only does it lift your spirits, but it also inspires you to get out there and start doing something about the things you don't like about your life. If you like self help books or videos, then you will definitely enjoy this.

Truths diluted by mystical, new age crap. Good, but could have been great.

This mystical, new-age crap about "the Universe" flooding you with money and power, or whatever else your heart desires, is silly. How can you believe in some nameless, faceless, mystical power, when there is so much evidence to point to an actual God, who created this world, who is our Father in Heaven, and who wants what is best, in the long term, for his spirit children here on Earth? Why is it easier to believe that crystals give you mystical energy, that "the Universe" gives you what you want, regardless of how righteous or evil, and that sin doesn't exist? Now for the actual footage - the beginning is overly melodramatic, quite nerdy, if you ask me. The Good: There is a lot of truth "Golden Rule, disguised in mystical terminology" in this infomercial. It will inspire many to be more focused, and to accomplish more. The Bad: Again, the new-age mysticism is irritating, as well as misleading to those who don't know better, so make sure you watch this with a healthy sense of skepticism for the more fantastic claims, and do your best to enjoy this very slick media production. Other than the cheesy introduction, the rest exhibits high production standards, and while some of the content is suspect, it contains a lot of good information, so it's worth the watch if you can get past the mystical new-age vocabulary "and some of the false claims".

Very highly recommended

It is great!!!!

The secret is there IS no secret!

I had an ex-roommate who was into this bull. However, neither Allah nor the universe he rules ares our personal genies nor should be. Often the creator will not give us what we want because what we want is wrong! WE might not know it, but the rest of the universe does. As for like attracting like, sometimes; but often opposites attract too. Also, some of this DVD is medically irresponsible; letting people think ANYTHING can be cured just with mind power. The point of life is not to get everything we want. I live in inner-city Philadelphia. Right now sneakers on telephone wires and stuffed animal monuments abound(people have been murdered) because somebody couldn't take no and accept not getting what they wanted. Allah doesn't need us, after all-it's us who need him. Stop worrying about what you WANT; and be grateful you have anything you NEED.

Believable

My life started to change when I was first spoken to about the secret by my mother Helen Ortiz. I heard her but didn't actually go out and rent or buy the Secret Book or Dvd like she recommended me to. I want to say about 2 yrs later I was at work and a very nice gentlemen, complete stranger I might add, said to me, " something about you is mysterious in good way, he said, "I can't point it out but its good, you must watch this movie/documentary the Secret, and immediately I pictured my mom telling me. Then again I didn't go out to buy it or seek it... Well a week later the customer bought it for me on Christmas then I watched and said to myself, "Wow The Secret found me!" ever since I have struggled here and there in my life. But today after being a hardcore drug attic, homeless, almost losing my life I never stopped trying and insisting on matching my emotions to what I want in life! I have it... its coming and continues to appear the way I vision MY LIFE! Believe in it. It is everything that you want to make you happy!

This is great to watch if you are in need of help in your life. It is an awesome documentary.

I READ THE BOOK AND WOW, THE MAGNITUDE OF WHAT CAN COME IF YOU CHANGE YOUR WAY OF THINKING. THE QUOTE " REMEMBER TO REMEMBER" IS VERY POWERFUL I HAVE USED THIS TECHNIQUE NOW FOR JUST OVER 2 WEEKS AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT HAS ALREADY CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER. I HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, I HAVE GAINED FINANCIALLY IN A BIG WAY. I USED THE LAWS OF ATTRACTION AND HAVE I EVER ATTRACTED. I HAVE ALMOST TRIPPLED IN TWO WEEKS WHAT I MAKE IN 3 MONTHS. SERIOUSLY, I HAVE. IT IS AMAZEING. I HAVE TOLD EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY ABOUT THE BOOK AND EVERYONE I KNOW JUST ABOUT.
I AM READING THE BOOK AGAIN AND PURCHACEING THE MOVIE ALSO. EVERYONE THAT GETS THE CHANCE MUST SEE THE MOVIE AND READ THE BOOK. IT IS ABSOLUTLY AMAZEING. THE POWER OF THE UNIVERSE AND THE LAWS OF ATTRACTION REALLY AND TRUELY WORK TO YOUR ADVANTAGE IF YOU JUST LEARN HOW TO PUT THEM TOGETHER TO WORK FOR YOU.

Shout it out!

I recomend the Secret to everyone, especially to children and teens. I think you should have an early start on the secret. If I had known about it years ago it would have changed the course of my life. Even today I have witnessed tremendous changes in my life just knowing the secret. If you don't like reading purchase the video, get it any way you can. You have got to get it. It's something you have been told all your life, but you never put much thought to it. Try it right now. Get up out of that chair. Move. Take action. Start living a wonderful life instantly.

Inspiring thoughts on positive thinking.

I found this book to be very mentally stimulating as to how the thought process can affect real life, as thoughts become things. If you can train your self to think differently this book tells you how all things are possible. You have the ability to change your life without having to do much of anything except realize that you are what you think and you can have what you think if you think of it in the now. Amazing. Once you read what the interviewers are saying you will realize that you have heard the same thing over and over from very successful people. They have all been trying to tell us the same thing, change your thoughts and you can change your life.

Positive and powerful message. Athletes have used visualization as part of their training. Many Christians have loved Dr. Norman Vincent Peale's book The Power of Positive Thinking. The Secret takes it to the next level and makes it relevent to a wider audience and for today.

A wake up call

I live my life by this DVD, I listen to the audio when I'm doing my chores or just lying around. I love this DVD and the audio version is just as great. I purchased this for my niece, my boyfriend and I listen to it everyday. This has been one of the best things that has happened to me after having my three girls. I am a 42 year old, a cancer survivor, a proud, positive beautiful dominican woman. I recommend this DVD, Book and Audio CD to everyone..... I am so grateful for being introduced to this spectacular uplifting experience. I thank my friend for giving it to me..

truly remarkable !

I had just failed my exams for yet another time and my friend recommended that I watch the dvd. It was so interesting and true, and it was more than a wake up call. It had open my eyes to all the negative things that I was surrounded by, and all the negativity I had been attracting instead of positivity. I was proud and anxious to share the secret with my husband and my daughter and I will continue sharing the secret with everyone who needs it. The secret have changed my life sooo much that I know when I do my exams again I WILL PASS.... no doubt about it... I will definately recommend this book to every and anybody. Having first been introduced to the concept of the laws of attraction through the Communication With God trilogy,by Neale Donald Walsch,it is apparent to me that thought/feelings are meant to remind us of who we really are,if we listen to our inner self,allowing energy"life,love,god"expand out into an infinate universe,then that positive energy will expand our world.If we let fear turn us inward"less than we are capable of",then likewise,we will attract what we expect.It "feels" like a puzzle that finally has all the pieces,and NOW I SEE....THANK YOU

Thoughts Become Things

You may think this was a great marketing ploy, and congratulations to Rhonda Byrne for utilizing the Law of Attraction. Marketing ploy or not you will get out of this what you put into it. Obviously someone who still remains negative will be disappointed, but for those that know the importance of "thoughts become things" will be able to change their life for the better. Good Luck.

This DVD is a super successful marketing project that will capture naive, vulnerable people and dreamers. This professionally produced DVD is packed with wishful thinking. There is never a mention of risk/reward, cost/benefit, and in high cost situations, the believer will end up heart broken. Avoid this DVD.
