    UCLA digitally restored dvd set

You won't be sorry when you buy this set of 4 dvds. The picture and sound quality are excellent. The stories will hold your interest. Also, you will laugh at Holmes and Watsons' interactions when Watson is "in the dark." Excellent quality and very good stories.

    Sherlock Holmes Logically Solves It.

Long before all the fuss of crime solving with the latest in technology, Sherlock Holmes did it by using deductive reasoning. Basil Rathbone still stands head and shoulders above the modern crime solvers in this regards. These are great movies for the whole family, especially for the younger people to show them how to "think" something through. Especially effective in this use if paused and talked about with adults. "Who do you think did it, how and why?" Without all the gimmicks used today, it is simply amazing..... dare I say elementry when you listen to Mr. Holmes explain the crime near the end of nearly every episode. Also a great lesson in history for the younger people. Great to own and enjoy again and again.
