Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble
The fourth season of HBO's Mob hit The Sopranos gets rolling with Uncle Junior feeling the squeeze of his legal costs, Carmela stressed out over money issues, Christopher anxiously escaping into heroin, and Tony feeling new pressures from everyone -- including an increasingly unruly Anthony Jr. There is dissension in the Family ranks, and Tony's New York counterparts have grown hungry for a bigger piece of his pie. Overall, the fourth season offers more complications a bit less blood than its immediate predecessor, and sets up more storylines than it concludes. It also drew the highest ratings in the show's history, and garnered 13 Emmy nominations.

    SEASON 4 tops them all

Season 4 goes beyond any soprano's season. In past seasons the the problem throughout the season have been resolved in the last episode, whereas in this season, they leave wondering if Adrianna is going to get whacked for talking to the mob, if Paula will still be alive after his betrayal to the NJ family, and the question is left hanging whether Tony and Carmella will still be together. THat is why I love this season because it leaves wanting more! All i know is I can't wait to see what happens in season 5!

I WANT TO BE IN THE MOB!!!!!

After watching the fourth season on HBO, i am convinced that this is the best season yet. All the drama rapped up in all the action made me want to be apart of Tony's crew. God i hope the 5th season can top this one!

    Sopranos Season 4 is awesome!!!!!!!

This has to top the first the three seasons including season 1. Tony and Carmela will be tested emotionally and their marriage will be put to the test. Will they come out still loving each other? The family business had to dodge some bullets in the family business and Paulie and Johnny Sack almost cause a war between the New York family and the New Jersey family. This season should win any award that it is nominated for.

    FOUR FOR FOUR

There's more to Season 4 than Ralph C's head in a bowling bag, but that's likely the focal point when the history of the HBO series is written. Again, THE SOPRANOS shine and the great moments abound: A sensitive Tony keeping a midnight vigil with a sick race horse (Dean Martin's ''My Rifle, My Pony & Me'' warbling in the background), Christopher's (hysterical) intervention and the always dependable soundtrack. The series heads into the home stretch for Seasons 5 & 6.
