Columbia Tri Star presents The Sweetest Thing in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, with clear, bright colors. The sound quality is excellent in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround in English, Dolby Digital 2.0 in French. Director Roger Kumble of Cruel Intentions fame leads off a filmmakers' commentary. Cast members such as Diaz and Christina Applegate chime in, along with writer Nancy Pimental from South Park stardom, giving not so much insight to the sophisticated world of cinema as they do to the crazy world happening off camera. The studio tacked on two featurettes. The first is "A Day in the Life of Nancy M. Pimental," a tongue-in-cheek interview with the movie's screenwriter. Of course, the personal assistant, child ghost writer and the pool boy all play vital roles in the witty featurette. Next is "Politically Erect," a behind-the-scenes documentary that looks a lot like every other behind-the-scenes documentary ever made, but provides for decent viewing as well as abundant trivia about the male body's role in this flick. We've got storyboard comparisons, theatrical trailers, production notes and a DVD-ROM link to the film's website. Scene selections and interactive menus round out the fare one would expect to see on a 21st-century DVD. Yet the absence of a truly hysterical bloopers reel was sorely noted.

This movie is like a post-college version of American Pie. You will laugh until your face hurts.
This moive is so gross yet so darn funny
I usually like Cameron Diaz, but this movie was a snoozer. Very poorly acted...had potential..but never quite there.
A relly charming,funny,gross moive
I think that every single girl should watch this movie! It relates to girls every where. It takes the girls point of view and not what guys think that girls act like! Make sure to get the unrated version. The penis song makes the movie!
Christina (Diaz) has become my idol. Spunky and confident, she and her friends live life to its fullest. This is the most entertaining movie I've ever seen.
I have watched this movie with my sister and my girlfriends over and over. It is so funny and entertaining.
totaly cool movie,i love the unrated version
There were some scenes which I would not want to watch with my mother around (no matter how old you are) but overall, it was just hysterical. Cute story, great writing. I was howling at some scenes...and I was skeptical about watching it. If you liked Something about Mary - watch this. If you weren't crazy about Mary, watch this -- its even better!!!!! Best comedy I've seen in a long time.
Quite the chick flick.....a great look at the female side of dating. Christina was wonderful. Although it was a light hearted movie, Cameron Diaz's performance left a bit to be desired. I enjoyed her performace much more in ''There's Something About Mary''. The soundtrack was fantastic...(wish I could find the CD-I've looked everywhere)..Gotta love the penis song!!!
This movie is disgusting. Thomas Jane, who plays Mr. Right, Peter, is the only good thing about this movie. The rest is garbage.
I love this movie!! I've seen it over and over again!! My friends and I watch it and can relate (oddly) to some of the things the girls do!! This movie is hysterical!
I love this movie and can't recommend it enough! For the cute version, watch it rated. For true insight to a woman's mind (and yes, heart), don't miss the unrated version! Cameron Diaz, Selma Blair, and Christina Applegate are absolutely stunning to watch, and keep you laughing and wanting more! Buy it now and watch it over and over again! =)
i love all comedy movies.... this film strangly enough reminds me of my friends and I in some ways.....
really good movie a girls movie but i like it cause its funny and romantic its a sweet lovely movie!
