    An Annual Event

This is an Easter tradition for my family. We look forward to watching the movie each year and always come away inspired and revitalized. This is a wonderful movie based on Biblical events and seems a very accurate portrayal of the timeline. Highly recommend this for all families - and do not necessarily wait for Easter to enjoy - this is good for anytime.

An Unparalleled Classic that Stands the Test of Time

This is truly the best rendition of the Ten Commandments/Exodus story. The 2006 TV version (dir. Robert Dornhelm) and the animated versions (Prince of Egypt (1998) & Ten Commandments (2007, CS)) completely pale in comparison to this classic. It is a tradition in our family to watch this movie every Passover/Easter season.

Thou Shalt Not Miss The Ten Commandments

DeMille's greatest film. A film that is remarkable in so many ways. It has wonderful acting, soundtrack, visual effects. Yes, it is a long movie, but it couldn't tell it's story any other way.

    An unforgettable classic.

This film will always be one of my all-time favorites. The acting is superb, and the special effects, while not on par with today's, are wonderfully executed (1956 version). The made for television version shown a year or two ago doesn't even come close to the Cecil B. DeMille film. I have not yet seen the silent film version included in this anniversary collection. I look forward to viewing it. One of our favorite annual, family traditions, has been watching this film together on Easter Sunday evening. In recent years though, the network has changed the broadcast day and occasionally shown it on another weekend; so we missed the broadcast altogether. Now, even our young ones can watch with us and still get to bed on time without the numerous commercial interruptions! Would so love to find another film of this genre, specifically ,"The Story of Ruth".

Best Cecil B. DeMille movie ever!

Every year I faithfully watch The Ten Commandments and it never fails to amaze me. I strongly recommend that everyone should at least see it once in their lifetime.

    AWESOME

This is an Epic Classic Bible story starring Charlton Heston. I used to wait for it to air every year when I was a child..............Now I can watch it when I want to. It is the story of Moses and his rise into the service of God leading the Isrealites out of Egypt. A must have for any household!!!!!!!!!!!ENJOY.

    I Also Recommend:

    Moses would love Charlton Heston!

This movie is AWESOME! I use it, in Sunday School, to show the kids what it might have been like, when Moses parted the Red Sea - they love it, too! A whole, new generation is really getting into this movie.
