    The Tenth Circle

This movie is an adaptation to the novel by Jodi Picoult which I might add is a remarkable piece of work. I will start off by first saying that it is often rare where we see a great movie adaptation in less than two hours based on a book that contains so much information. The movie for some reason seemed like a movie trailer to the actual movie. All of the major ideas were placed into the movie but there was not enough "unfolding" of the movie to be able to grasp the full impact to the novel's plot. The acting was decent and the characters fit the roles to a point. Some of the alterations of the movie were a little of a disappointment for the reason that it did not stay true to the story. I applaud lifetime with a lot of movies that are made under their studios but I think this is one that should have been seen through a lot more and lengthened the extra hour so as to fit as much detail as possible. If the movie was to be watched alone without reading the book I can see how it could stand on its own but if the book has already been read then there may be some disappointment. Read the book if a decision between the two comes into play, its well worth it.
