I found this series to have excellent characters, lots of intelligent action, and a lead character with all the right moves, yet not totally predictable. What I liked about this series of action videos, was the plot twists, and true involvement wih the main character, and his concern for those he transports. Great scripts, excellent camera work, and characters which immerse you into the movie. I love this series.

I watch a lot of movies, and it takes quite a bit to make me take notice. This move grabbed me by the throat and demanded my attention. Jason Statham plays Frank Martin, a former military man who’s turned into a transporter, with his own set of rules. On a seemingly simple job, he breaks one of his own rules (rule 3: never look in the package) and his entire world blows up in his face. Suddenly, Frank is sucked into a dark world of human slavery and organized crime. The fight scenes are amazing to watch, they held me spellbound, and the chase scenes are simply fun. Other reviewers are pointing out the plot holes. There’s a few, but frankly, who cares? This isn’t Alfred Hitchcock, nor is it trying to be smart, high drama. It’s more analogous to Quentin Tarantino. It’s just action for the fun of it. If you’re looking for a movie that will enrich your life and make you think- go rent Schindler’s List. If you’re looking for a movie that will entertain you, thrill you, and make 90 minutes race by- then get yourself a copy of the Transporter. Highly recommended for all action movie buffs.

This is simply one of the worst movies I've ever seen! The initial storyline is plausable enough but once in use its almost unwatchable. The accents make the dialog difficult to understand, in fact, I'm not sure what the girl and the french cop are speaking is english. The action scenes are choppy with an seemingly unending supply of bad guys trying to put the hurt on Statham. As with all martial arts movies a certain suspension of disbelief is required however this director and story has difficulty even pulling that off. The one bright spot is Jason Statham who is incredible as an action hero. He plays the perfect strong silent type with little smirks thrown as if to tell the audience that he truly has this all under control and is actually enjoying the exercise. He is at his best in the fight scenes where he can show off his really amazing abilities. He pulls off some moves I haven't seen in the best foreign martial arts movies. So, see this if you like a ridiculous plot and horrible acting, but great fight sequences. Even then make sure you've had a few drinks.

I saw this movie in the theatre. Everyone of us loved it. For guys, this is the best an action flick can get. The last hour and fifteen minutes is straight non-stop action. It goes from car chase to fight scene to car chase and so on ... unbelievable. For girls, Jason Stratham takes his shirt off for like half the movie ... and he is cut.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful for one. The Transporter definitely knew how to handle that 1999 BMW flawlessly and he was oh so good to look at. I've never seen Jason Statham before this movie and I must say that after this, I will be looking for him. I just saw The Italian Job which he co-stars in & every time he had to drive or do something in the film I kept saying to my boyfriend, he can do that because he's The Transporter! Totally enjoyed the movie.

This movie was really well done. I gave my husband a hard time when he came home with this movie - I thought it was just another ''action-packed'' dopey film. However, not only did my husband and kids enjoy the movie, I found myself on the edge of my seat and my jaw clenched for most of it. Excellent action sequences, good acting, interesting cinematography. Also, the additional sequences (interviews with the actors etc.) show what a well-orchestrated production it was. Totally enjoyable (and this from a person who tends to find flaws with most movies...)
