For those who think this is another Twilight copy cat.It is NOT!!!! The books which the Tv show is based upon came out way before Twilight.And trust me this Story is more interesting and epic and great.The whole season is filled with epic moments especially the season finale of this season.It left many speechless. Also the actors and actresses are fantastic Nina Dobrev delivers an epic and great portrayal of Elena/Katherine.Ian Somerhalder is great as the bad guy Damon and Paul Wesley is great as the tortured vampire with a soul. Any ways this series is fantastic and I have to say it beats twilight in every way the cast is fantastic and the plot is far more epic and GREAT.People before like to say it was a mix between dawsons creek and buffy but this show has already made a name for itself as does NOT need to be compared with other tv shows/books/movies.Any ways this is fantastic!!Like i said the season finale blew left me speechless when it aired and so did many episodes.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.OMG!,the first thing i will say about the tv series is it is so,so scare worthy!Enjoyed watching it very much and the plot will keep your eyes glued to the screen!loved the romance between Stefan and Elena,Damon is so cruel in like the first few episodes he kills so many people,wounds Vikki,uses Caroline as food and manipulates her but he secretly likes Elena despite his actions,great tv series,can't wait to know what happens next!

It kept up my "strength" until TB started back up, but I ended up falling in love with the characters and the show itself. I haven't read the books and don't plan to because I heard they were different, seeing as the books are from 3 different stand points, the show basically 1. I would definitely recommend this to any vampire lover, or basically anyone who wants a well acted, well produced, directed, and written show!

It is a very loose adaption to the book. Expect characters to look nothing like described in the book and the plot to change dramatically. This is not to say its a bad show b/c its anything but. Im just giving you the warning i never had and hoping to help you avoid the statement "this isnt like the book at all!" which i said repeatly the first season. If you are able to treat them as seperate entities you'll throughly enjoy this show.... if not, well id say pass.

This is the second time I ordered from the seller. I got a gift card for Christmas and was very excited to use it on this item and even more excited when I saw the great deal. However, my order was soon cancelled because, due to prior orders, they were not able to ship it.
It took forever to get the money back on my gift card and for this seller to offer this same deal and, when they did, I completed another order only to receive an email stating it had been cancelled for the same reason as the first. Needless to say, I am disappointed and less than impressed. The price was great, and now I've missed out on regular BN's deal and will have to pay more. I will not be ordering from this seller again.

This show is absolutely amazing! Rarely are tv shows/movies better than the books. This show is an exception, though.
The acting is amazing and the chemistry between the characters is great! The story never gets boring...every single episode is action packed and romance filled, leaving you excited for the next. I find it better than other supernatural shows/movies because of the mythology. The mythology in this show is developed, well incorporated into the storyline, and includes the traditional vampire myths. It is also very well put together, the special effects, camera work, and editing makes every scene all the more interesting and believable.

This is by far the best tv show ever and it is sooooo much better than Twiight!!! (&& btw I thought that wasnt possible). If you havent seen this you seriously need to!!!!
