    Excellent

I absolutely love British drama and this satire is one of the best I've seen. The performances are outstanding, and MacFadyen (one of my favorite British actors) is a delight so watch. I highly recommend it.

    Oh My God!!! Terrific stuff!

I just finished watching this program after purchasing the DVD and it's programs like this 1 that are the reason Masterpiece Theater enjoys the reputation for excellence that it does! I loved this story and if you love David Suchet as Poirot then wait til you get a load of him in this adaptation of Trollop's story! Wow! Highly recommended!

I'm Going to Watch it Again!

I love literary adaptations. It's so enjoyable to watch a great production of a book I've read - usually over and over. However, I have never read The Way We Live Now but I just loved the movie and know that I will need to find some time to read the book this summer. It doesn't matter if you haven't read the book - the movie is easy to follow and understand. Every new scene is important and captivating on its own. As usual, Andrew Davies writes an outstanding script. The cast were all superb as well. I'm trying to think of something negative to say just to balance it out - but I can't think of anything. This movie is a definite MUST WATCH!

    The Way We Live Now

This is a brilliant series. The performance are incredible (especially David Duchet and the actress who plays his daughter) and the plot is certainly timely. One of the best series I've ever seen.

Great production of a great story

I highly recommend this DVD. I loved this series when it first came on Masterpiece Theatre. The acting is tremendous, and the story lines are fascinating. It's very funny, and it's also very sad, making for an unforgettable story. Love it!
