Barnes & Noble - Donald Liebenson
The Big Red Car is stuffed with presents, Santa Claus is tap-dancing, and Australia's premier preschool entertainers are singing their favorite holiday songs from around the world. Greg, Murray, Anthony, and Jeff also break from the familiar classics for such soon-to-be kiddie favorites as "Murray's Christmas Samba" and "The Christmas Polka." It wouldn't be a Wiggly party without Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, and Wags the Dog, and they join the titular quartet for "Christmas Around the World," "Here Come the Reindeer," "Just Can't Wait for Christmas Day," and "Doin' a Dance." The Irish song "Curoo Curoo" is among the highlights here, and the group's rendition of "Angels We Have Heard On High" rocks gently. The delightful computer-animated number "Jimmy the Elf" and live-action footage of children and families enjoying holiday celebrations can't fail to put viewers in a happy mood. So have yourself a Wiggly little Christmas with this 45-minute addition to the increasingly impressive Wiggles library.

I absolutely adore the Wiggles. I'm fourteen years old, so when I tell this to my friends, they begin to question my sanity. Let's face it, even my dad was checking to see if I ripped all of the hair off my old Barbie dolls, but the Wiggles are fantastic. They are for the entire family, whether you're four, fourteen, or eighty-four. In watching Yule Be Wiggling (in my opinion, the finest of all of the fourteen that I own) one can easily see that the Wiggles aren't out to get a lot of the ''Kiddie Moola'' but truly believe in what they are doing. With guest appearance by Morgan Crowley (a delightful Irish gentleman who is fluent in Gaelic) and the usual antics of Captain Feathersword and the wacky foursome, Yule Be Wiggling raises the Wiggles standards at least 200%. It is also a very 'family oriented' video. This is illustrated by the beautiful song, The World Is One On Christmas Morning, where there is footage of the Wiggles' families celebrating Christmas. Fabulous, I recommend it!

One of the Wiggles finest, and I've seen them all and own 90% of them. The colors, the energy, the wonderful variety of music, what is not to love? It would be a crime to only watch this at Christmastime. I particularly love: The World Is One, Curoo Curoo, and the computer animated Jimmy the Elf. There is not one song that isn't great. My five year old loves to dance to ''Just Can't Wait for Christmas'' with me. ''Decorate the Tree'' showcases how funny Captain Feathersword can be. I love his singing lesson from Morgan as well. Not just for the short in stature. My husband and I (ages 39 and 46) are Wiggles fanatics as well! Not only are they awesome entertainers they are humble, sweet, kind and down to earth as well. I was so impressed with them after having the honor of meeting them, I've vowed to be a fan for life. A special note to parents of special needs children: All the Wiggles videos have shown to be rather theraputic for special needs children, particularly autism spectrum children and Down's kids. The Wiggles have replaced my daughter's music therapy quite effectively. They are most deserving of our admiration unlike the vast majority of celebrities these days.
