Interesting for old school Pro Wrestling fans.

The Wrestler is worth watching if you are an old school wrestling fan or someone who is really into the history of pro wrestling. Man, you can tell Verne Gagne had final approval over this piece of work. He's all over the place! This movie is 30-years-old and Ric Flair is seen wrestling in a scene where Gagne is reviewing some film although Slick Ric is never mentioned by name. Another cool scene shows Vince McMahon Sr. and a lot of other old wrestling promoters who are now booking matches in the sky. Well, maybe a place a little warmer than that. Funniest moments involve Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdoch in a bar fight with some karate guys. If you are a wrestling fan it's worth watching. If not you would have to be a serious Ed Asner fan to want to even give this one a look.
